Gather your tribe around the picnic table and take in the sights and sounds of the New River Gorge without ever needing to go far. Our full hook-up sites include electric (50-amp, 30-amp, 20-amp), water, sewer, and our Creekside fire pits are the perfect place to spend quality time near the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve.

Our level gravel lots are designed to give you plenty of room to sit around the fire pit or enjoy all of our onsite amenities.

Partially shaded and gravel sites are equipped with electricity (30 amp or 20 amp) and water. Enjoy the sounds of nature around the fire pit or hold a barbecue around the picnic table. No matter what you do, you’ll see why The Outpost is “Where Wild Meets Wonderful.”

Want to bring your friends but they don't have an RV? This is the perfect option to share the experience together. If you’re looking for the perfect place to park your wheels and take in the New River Gorge, you won’t get any closer than The Outpost’s sites. Nestled in a natural planetarium and adjoining the New River Gorge National Park, you’ll be only minutes away from some of the nation’s finest hiking and whitewater rafting. Partially shaded and gravel sites are equipped with electricity (30 amp or 20 amp) and water. This particular site has one of our Rustic Family Cabins directly attached to the sitting area. Enjoy the sounds of nature around the fire pit or hold a barbecue around the picnic table with your group. Bring your friends and family that don't have a RV to be with you and experience the magic of the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve together!
