The Dirty Grass Players are an energetic explosion of old-time pickin’, colored with an inventive, newgrass hand,that is given lyrical life by their soaring vocal harmonies that exist on an ethereal plain. They live at the crossroads between the traditional, which is the backbone of what they do, and the progressive with their innovative forward-thinking approach. The Dirty Grass Players, with their steady, workman-like precision and loose adventurous spirit is a band that can both confound Bill Monroe and cause him to smile uncontrollably. Their music is progressive, traditional, experimental, imaginative, and at its core, Dirty.

They’ve provided direct support for bluegrass legends such as The Seldom Scene, Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen, and Larry Keel. On the other side of that coin, they aren’t afraid to get weird at a late night festival slot and have become well known for their tastefully balanced and refreshingly diverse song-writing. Catch their live show and you’ll be sure to receive a full helping of hard-driving bluegrass favorites and heart-wrenching country ballads. WHAT: A Bluegrass get-down! Beautiful vibes in the air, camping, food trucks, local brews, and art vendors while dancing and getting groovy under the stars 160’ down in the heartbeat of the New River Gorge!

WHEN: June 28th, 2025 – Bar at 5:30pm / Door at 6:00pm / Main Show 7:30-11:00pm

FREE SHUTTLE: A free, continuously running shuttle will be available with two pick-up and drop-off locations. Each ride takes about 10 minutes or less. Details are listed below — just click the map links to view each spot!

1. 1. Adventures On The Gorge: (219 Co Rte 60/5, Lansing, WV 25862) – bar and restaurant available on site.
2. 2. Downtown Fayetteville: (Corner of Fayette Avenue and Phillips Street) - while you're there, enjoy the town’s restaurants, bars, and shops before taking the shuttle to the venue. Please note that parking in this area includes 2-hour street parking, After Hours Parking Lots (free after 5 PM), and a few Anytime Parking Lots.
